BOARD OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2026
Each Board role plays a unique part in moving the chapter forward. Below are more specific descriptions of how each Board role contributes to the overall leadership of the chapter.
In addition to the information detailed below, All roles benefit from familiarity with tools such as Excel, Word, Gmail, Wild Apricot, and Google Docs (and QuickBooks for Treasurer). The Directors of Communication, Community Outreach, Business Alliance, Membership, and Programs also recruit and lead committees, offering members opportunities to engage, contribute, and grow as leaders.
President-Elect (Vice President)
Impact: Strengthen chapter leadership continuity while actively supporting the President and Board.
Ideal Candidate: A collaborative leader eager to learn, support, and prepare to step into the President’s role.
Additional Requirement: Serve in a Board Role or on a Committee for one year.
Key Contributions:
- Partner closely with the President to ensure follow-through on board initiatives.
- Represent the chapter when the President is unavailable.
- Deepen engagement with members, affiliates, and regional partners.
- Support smooth, effective board operations.
- Executive Role: Serves on the Executive Committee with President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
