Continuing Education - Access to thought leadership and trends related to the coaching profession. Many events are eligible for Continuing Coaching Education Units that can used when establishing or renewing an ICF Credential. 

Professional Networking & Community Building - Chapter meetings and events give members the opportunity to connect with other professional coaches that can lead to collaborative projects and create a source for professional and business development.  Meet new people from other training programs, other types of coaches, and strategic partners (SHRM, OD/Training and related businesses).

Pro Bono and In-Kind Volunteer Coaching Events - ICF Greater Austin offers pro-bono and in-kind coaching opportunities several times a year. Volunteer coaching events offer coaches an opportunity to give back to the community while also providing the coach with valuable coaching experience and contacts.

Business Referrals - The “Find a Coach” tab on the ICF Greater Austin Charter Chapter website makes it easy for new clients to connect with our member coaches for business opportunities by allowing direct access to the members’ professional profiles and contact information.

Event Discounts – As a member of the ICF Greater Austin Charter Chapter you receive a discounted rate for meeting registration versus non-members. Connection with the Local and Global Coaching Community Stay current through regular communication on coaching topics, issues and developments as the chapter is the bridge connecting you to the larger global ICF community.

Advocacy Support – Membership adds your voice to support coaching as a profession, including lobbyist support that (1) ensures the credibility, ethical standards, and independence of the coaching profession to continue to be self-regulated and (2) upholds the welfare of the public we serve with professional integrity.   

ICF Global Partner & Member Discounts ICF partners with various groups to offer special pricing and discounts on goods and services to ICF Members. See a list of current partners and review offerings here. ICF Global members receive discounts on a variety of offerings, including conferences and events (both local and global), ICF Credentialing applications, research findings, and other special offers.

Members-Only Content and Updates Members have access to member-only content on ICF Global (Coachfederation.org), as well as ICF Greater Austin (icfaustin.org). Members will receive regular update emails containing deadlines, new offers and other news items.

Coaching Research ICF Members have access to all materials available in the ICF Research Portal and receive discounts when purchasing research reports sold by the ICF. Additionally, members will have the opportunity to assist with ICF research efforts when future studies are conducted.
