*This presentation has been approved by ICF Global for One (1) Continuing Coaching Education Unit toward renewal of ICF Credential. No additional charge.
Are you a professional coach, manager, or clergy wishing to enhance your skills in handling clients, employees, and colleagues? Learn this exciting approach. Some challenges are not meant to be solved with “either/or” thinking. The “both/and” thinking of Polarity Management allows individuals and partnerships to achieve their higher purpose and explore their deeper concerns while addressing diversity and inclusion. Candace Bixler will introduce the concept of Polarity Management as created by Barry Johnson, author of Polarity Management: Identifying and Managing Unsolvable Problems. As a participant, you will explore a variety of interdependent values that create the dilemmas in our personal lives and tensions within organizations. You will then be guided through the process of creating a Polarity Map, a tool used worldwide by individuals and organizations to understand and manage and coach ambiguity.
As founder of Impact Leadership Coach, Candace Bixler is currently supporting educational leaders as an effectiveness/life coach. She has acquired extensive experience in the field of education leadership through her tenure as middle school and high school teacher in Alaska, Arizona and Texas, Director of Special Programs for Lago Vista School District and Education Specialist for the Education Service Center Region XIII.
