EVENT DESCRIPTION
Building Your Development Roadmap toward Excellence in DEI Coaching
ICF Austin is happy to host The Confidence Network founder and CEO, Kristine Pérez-Foley, to facilitate a session focused on inclusivity. This 75-minute workshop helps you focus on your DEI coaching development plan and provides a view into the LEAD Inclusively TM coaching framework. The session allows coaches to understand their personal relationship with DEI better and create an inclusive mindset development plan. The goal is to increase coaching competence for sensitive DEI-related topics with courage and vulnerability.
LEAD Inclusively™ Development Process
The LEAD Inclusively™ development process identifies how to increase your business performance by leveraging what current DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) research tells us about inclusion and employee engagement. The reality is that just increasing representation does not guarantee higher levels of employee engagement and business performance.
LEAD Inclusively™ draws on our decades of experience to support growth by creating alignment between talent strategy and business goals. Our data-driven approach allows us to assess the unique needs of your organization and create solutions to suit your needs now and in the future.
Our solution is supported by the Intercultural Development Inventory®, a premier cross-culturally valid assessment for building cultural competence.
Monday Nov 20th 6:30 - 7:45 pm
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Kristine Pérez-Foley M. Ed, PCC (She, Her, Ella)
Kristine is founder and CEO of The Confidence Network LLC, a full-service leadership development company with a specialization in DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion). Offerings include assessment, executive coaching, leadership consulting/training and their signature DEI programing LEAD Inclusively™ https://confidence-network.com/.
Kristine and her firm empower global industry leaders, including CEOs, Senior Executives and Directors in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia to use their influence to help their organizations create a competitive advantage in the marketplace through enhancement of their DEI efforts. Her approach combines inclusive mindset and skillset development with executive coaching to support senior leaders as they drive talent strategy and sponsor under-represented talent through inclusive recruiting, retention, and advancement practices. Specialized coaching service offerings support underrepresented talent to succeed at all levels of leadership.
As a bicultural, bilingual (Spanish/English) Latina professional herself, Kristine knows first-hand the importance of embracing who you are and learning how to see one’s difference as an asset. This awareness has given her a unique ability to guide others on their authentic leadership journey.
In addition to running her own firm, Kristine serves as a mentor coach for the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and contributes to 3 not-for-profits; LatinaVIDA®, serving as director of coaching services, Women for Change Coaching Community®, where she provides career coaching to empower economically disadvantaged women and Nerdy Girl Success®, delivering trainings and mentoring to young women ages 14-22 to become decision makers in business, politics and the arts.
Kristine’s previous work experience includes working with 2 small private leadership firms and one large public firm. This has given her insight and experience helping leaders scale up their leadership capabilities to accommodate business growth. She has also held leadership positions in the automotive and banking industries, taught Spanish language and literature at the secondary and college level and served as world languages department leader for a large public school system in New York.
Personally, she grew up in Puerto Rico on her family’s coffee plantation and moved to Spain in her early adulthood to work and live. Currently, she lives in the San Diego area with her husband. Her interests include fashion, food, and fitness which she turned into growth opportunities for clients by becoming a New York Institute of Art & Design personal stylist, licensed Be Body Positive group facilitator, Intuitive Eating Pro-Skills trainer, and National Academy of Sports Medicine physical fitness trainer.
