Winter Social & Book Launch Tuesday, December 14, 2021
Let’s get together and celebrate 25 years as a chapter! We have updated the date to December 14 and will host our Winter Social at Chez Zee in Austin.
Keep an eye out for invitation & registration information coming soon. There will be a limit of 45 attendees.
During this event, we are also excited to share a project that many of the ICF Austin Members have been working. We will launch the book, Explorations Into the Being and Doing of Coaching!
Explorations Into the Being and Doing of Coaching is a collaboration from a diverse group of Austin based coaches, a unique labor of love to help coaches hone their craft. The first few chapters delve into the “being" of coaching, including topics such as knowing oneself and one’s values and showing up with nonjudgmental mindful presence. We then delve into the nuts and bolts of “doing” coaching, which includes topics such as working with emotions, using myth and metaphor, building client trust and demonstrating empathy. Whether you’re starting out as a new coach, or you’ve been a successful coach for many years, the resources in this collection will help your coaching continuously improve and grow.
For everyone's safety, all attendees are expected to accept the COVID-19 prevention measures in place at Chez Zee. This includes a mask requirement, except for short moments of eating and drinking, and social distancing as much as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
