In this 60 minute, interactive presentation, you will set your sights on where you or your client wants to be in 5/10 years and pave the path to get there. This presentation describes a powerful process to guide you and/or your client through strategic planning and goal setting. Components in the process include Self Awareness, Mental Fitness, Vision Creation and Success Attainment.

About the Speaker

CurVie Burton is Founder and CEO of TheRoadB4U, LLC a coaching and consulting firm that specializes in assisting business leaders and teams move to higher levels of performance and effectiveness. CurVie is a “Bridge Builder” assisting individuals and teams move from where they are to where they want to be. The methods practiced at TheRoadB4U include a focus on Self Awareness, Mental Fitness, understanding and utilizing the Six Dimension of Life, Vision Creation, and Success Attainment.

CurVie grew up in the Information Technology (IT) industry evolving from systems engineer to executive leader and trusted advisor. He worked in leadership roles in General Motors Corp (GM), Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Hewlett Packard (HP) and has consulted with individuals and leaders from hundreds of companies. IT was his industry, but people are his passion.

Coach, Business Consultant, Advisor and Mentor, CurVie spent most of his career building and executing technology integration plans. Working implement technical solutions, he became keenly aware that successful projects require skilled, motivated, and focused teams and leaders. This awareness has led him to focus on culture, chemistry, synergy of the teams and the mental, physical and emotional health of the individuals who comprise them.

CurVie is a founding member and past chairman of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF). As a founding member, he worked collaboratively to design, develop, and execute the strategies and tactics that were foundational in seeding the organization we see today. CurVie served on the ITSMF Executive Board from 1996 to 2012 and was ITSMF Chair from 2004 - 2008. CurVie currently leads the ITSMF Men’s Initiative.

CurVie worked with ITSMF and Menttium Corporation to develop and mature coaching and mentoring programs that focus on helping women and people of color successfully navigate the corporate waters. He was instrumental in the development of the ITSMF Leadership Institute which focuses on helping middle and senior managers ascend to and compete at the highest corporate levels. In 2008 after stepping away from ITSMF Board participation CurVie architected what is now the ITSMF Executive Academy. This Academy focuses on developing and polishing C-Suite skills and capabilities.

CurVie is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is a certified ICF Coach. He is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is certified in Project and Program Management. He is Founder and President of the Texas Coaches Coalition (TCC) and lives in Carrollton, TX.
