Establishing the Coaching Agreement

What happens and how well it happens is largely determined by how effectively we have established the coaching agreement with our clients.

This session examines how to do this effectively for the overall agreement and tools to use at the start of each session. We will discuss how you know you have narrowed it down enough and how to make this measurable so that the success of the coaching is more clear. There are some additional considerations when establishing the agreement with a group or team. This session will allow time for very concrete practicing of nailing down the coaching agreement for a specific session, both one-on-one and for a group.

Marilyn Orr

Marilyn Orr, CEC, PCC is a Leadership and Mentor Coach with Capacity Building Coaching, and Training Partner on EQ-i 2.0 with MHS. She provides professional coaching for executives and business leaders, mentor coaching for coaches, and leadership development support in the form of coaching skills training, soft-skills development, facilitation of key discussions and team coaching.

Marilyn started what is now the ICF Atlantic Canada chapter and is a previous President of our ICF Charter Chapter of Greater Austin, Texas.
