Biography
Marcia is a certified leadership coach and consultant with extensive business background focused on team coaching, organizational development, and training development. Her work brings teams together in order to achieve a common goal. She combines her facilitation skills with her solid understanding of both business and people to drive teams to higher performance while encouraging them to have fun. She is able to find the business thread amongst a disparate group of people often operating at different levels of the organization to drive common purpose and approach. She enjoys working across cultures and is extremely effective in virtual environments.
Background
Marcia draws upon her many years of business experience in enterprise data management to enhance her coaching. She is an analyst at heart and provides insightful organizational ideas that improve productivity. Her long list of clients includes Pfizer, Wells Fargo, American Airlines and Helzberg Diamonds. Early in her career she worked her way up from Data Analyst to IT Director at the Lower Colorado River Authority. She then went on to serve as a data management consultant driving a variety of data integration and business intelligence projects. Along the way, she has developed and delivered numerous training programs and enjoys organizing concepts in a meaningful way to enhance learning. Most recently she worked with a non-profit of business community leaders to help them grow their leadership skills and streamline their organizations.
Education and Certifications
Marcia has her master’s in organizational management and Development from Fielding Graduate University and her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas in Austin. She is a certified coach (ACC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and serves currently on the Board Advisory Council of ICF Austin. She has served as the coordinator for the Texas Conference for Women Coaches Corner for five years. She is a published author, avid instructor and sought-after speaker on data management and project team communication topics.
